Meet Crain’s first 40 Under 40 class

The members of the Crain’s Manchester Business 40 Under 40 Class of 2008 are special in many ways, but they all have one thing in common: They are first group of 40 Under 40 awardees, and as such, set the standard that future 40 Under 40 awardees will have to meet, and hopefully, surpass.

Over 100 Greater Manchester business professionals were nominated and considered for the inaugural 40 Under 40 class. In making the selections, Crain’s asked nominees to provide extensive information about their careers and community activities.

We selected this year’s group from information they provided and from our own research and knowledge of the business community. In the end, professional achievement was the most important qualification for selection.
