Biggest achievement: Growing his business to being the only official supplier of corporate hospitality at Chester Racecourse.
Current business goal: Aims to achieve £5m turnover while maintaining a high profit margin in the next three years.
Altrincham-based Alexander Events has grown leaps and bounds since founder Evans set it up in 2003. In just five years it has grown its turnover to £1.4m and now boast corporate hospitality offerings in football, rugby, cricket, polo, golf, tennis, motorsports and clay pigeon shooting.
In April it was chosen as the first ever official supplier of corporate hospitality at Chester Racecourse and also operates at Aintree racecourse.
“Alexander Events started five years ago with a small part share of a private box at Chester Racecourse, during the five years that have elapsed since then we have gone from that to being the first and official supplier of corporate hospitality for the racecourse,” Evans told Crain’s.
The group manages boxes at Everton and Lancashire County Cricket and was the official supplier of corporate hospitality at The Flame International
Polo Tournament earlier this month.
The group also provides private chalets at Royal Ascot and a rally car experience.
